Anto Lau was born in 1980 in Vichy (France).
He creates art and broadcasts it since 2008 in Europe and sets up in Shanghai in 2012.
His artistic training was long autodidact but also holds a BT assistant architect, as a DEUG in history of art, he completes his training with a DNAP and DNSEP School of Fine Arts.
His work is one interpretation of well-defined space and time. Throught this last ones, he operates transcripts both physical and mental. His tools such as layout, images, sounds... allow him to create documents, installations, with which he attempts to convert the notion of memory.
Anto Lau is a mutlidisciplinary artist, influenced by the Conceptual movement and he composed his work with rigor, through many medias. Today, he is interested in tools mostly coming from the daily life in order to provide them new functions.
